Meals:
There are a number of interesting restaurants along the beach in Cabarete.
Be adventurous with common sense; ask our staff for recommendations
and locations. Here's a list of restaurants we've personally tried and
found to be very good:
-

Brisas: Good breakfast and everything from burgers to fine food; great
all you can eat mexican buffet each week

best meat meals in Cabarete - not to be missed.

the In-place of Cabarete, from burgers to fish, meat, etc. also has
occasional buffets. After dinner - good music and great people at
the bar.
-
Tribal
Cafe: Just next to Onno's - best Pizzas in town!!!
- Mercedes:
Very typical Dominican Restaurant (not at beach) ask our staff for its
location.
Health:
We recommend that you only drink bottled water in the Dominican Republic.
Even though the hotels typically wash foods in purified water, be as
cautious as you would be in any third world country. To allow yourself
to adjust to the different food and water and to avoid getting sick,
dont further tax your system by exhausting yourself the first
day or by drinking too much alcohol! If concerned, consult your physician
before leaving home.
