TOURS: MOUNTAIN BIKING

One of the most enjoyable acitivites for visitors to the North Coast of the Dominican Republic is mountain biking. Whether it is a full-day trip, or just a morning excursion while waiting for the wind back in Cabarete to start up, almost every skill level of biking is within a short distance of Cabarete Bay.

Tours and rentals are handled through the experts at Iguana Mama, our neighbour, and can range anywhere between Maximum Endurance rides, to advanced-only technical rides, to a leisurely 3000 vertical foot descent from the mountains, while sampling local fruits and being greeted by friendly villagers.

For those familiar to the surrounding area, bike rentals are also available, and Iguana Mama prides themselves on having the latest equipment, kept in perfect condition.
